During his 24-year tenure at AIIMS, he personally performed over 400 Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplants, placing him among the most experienced transplant oncologists in the country. Dr. Raina is also a highly accomplished researcher and academic. He served as Principal Investigator for nearly 50 national and international clinical research projects, and was one of the Co-Founders f the INDOX Cancer Research Network. More than 70 oncologists trained under him at AIIMS now hold senior positions across India and abroad, reflecting his unmatched contribution to medical education.In 2013, Dr. Raina joined Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI) as the Director of Medical Oncology & Haematology. He was later elevated to Executive Director in 2017, and in 2020 he was appointed Chairperson of Oncosciences for the entire Fortis Healthcare Network.
