Director & Unit Head – Radiation Oncology | 23+ Years of Post-MD Experience | Internationally Recognized Radiation Oncology Expert Dr. Swarupa is a highly respected Radiation Oncologist serving as the Director and Unit Head of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Fortis Memorial Research Institute. With over 23 years of post-MD experience, she is renowned for her clinical excellence, leadership, and contributions to global cancer care. She has been an invited faculty at prestigious national and international platforms, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the Indian College of Radiation Oncologists (ICRO), and has served as a Mentor for The Union for International Cancer Control (UICC)—reflecting her strong academic presence and international reputation. Dr. Swarupa is also deeply engaged in research and academic mentorship. She serves as the Co- Guide for a PhD thesis at the University of Ghent, Belgium, contributing to cutting-edge advancements in oncology.
